As coronavirus continues to dominate the news, we are proactively exploring ways in which we can continue to work with our clients over the forthcoming weeks and months. We are taking steps to minimise the risk of coronavirus in the workplace, in line with guidance from Public Health England. We want to reassure you that, in our firm, we have limited certain travel and are instructing individuals who may have come into contact with coronavirus to self-isolate, amongst other precautionary measures.
Meetings in our offices
We have taken the decision that all non-essential face to face meetings are to be rearranged or undertaken either by telephone or video conferencing in order to help protect both you and our staff.
If we need to close our offices
If the outbreak results in office closures, or quarantine for any of our staff, rest assured we have a robust business continuity plan in place that will enable us to minimise the impact of our service to you and your business. Our people are provided with the devices they need to work remotely, and phone calls can be answered whilst working outside of the office.
Our client records are held electronically which means that we will be able to access almost all necessary documentation and systems remotely whilst following our usual processes and controls.
In the event of an office closure, we will arrange all post to be redirected, scanned and distributed electronically to teams, but there could be a delay in receiving this information. We therefore encourage you to use email to send us this information wherever possible. If you need to send personal or confidential information then we suggest that you use our online portal, which allows you to send messages and files to us more securely than regular email.
If your business is impacted
We understand that many of you are concerned about how this pandemic will affect you and your business. Please remember that we are here to support you with any questions you might have, however small. We are happy to talk through your concerns and work with you to find the right solution.
We remain committed to the safety of our clients and people and are confident that the steps introduced will avoid any material disruption to our business. We will, however, continue to monitor developments and provide updates as the situation evolves.
